Biography
Darrell Bouldin is an issues advocate and change catalyst. He grew up in a village in the foothills of Appalachia in Tennessee. He is the Mid-Cumberland Regional Director at the Tennessee Suicide Prevention Network. His prior nonprofit experience includes working as the Regional Organizer at Bread for the World, covering the southeastern United States. Bread for the World is a global NGO dedicated to hunger and poverty issues.
Darrell has held several positions in political and civic organizations. He has served on the US Democratic Party's Democratic National Committee LGBT Advisory Board. He was elected as a Delegate to the 2012 Democratic National Convention and the 2016 Democratic National Convention.
Darrell served as State Executive Vice President of the Tennessee Young Democrats. Darrell was recognized with the distinction of Lifetime Honorary Membership in the Tennessee Young Democrats in 2023.
Darrell has served on the boards of New Leaders Council Nashville, which he founded, Emerging ChangeMakers Network, Tennessee Alliance for Progress, and other organizations.
Darrell is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts based in London. He was an Inaugural Greensboro Justice Fund Fellow at the historic Highlander Research & Education Center. He is an alumnus of the Rockwood Leadership Institute's Art of Leadership program.
